Academy Charter
The Walt Disney Academy's founding Headmaster and Deputy Headmaster, Walter Disney and his brother Roy, wanted to give young German wizards and witches a place closer to home to attend wizarding school. Making purchase of a castle in Neuschwanstein, the brothers had the interiors and exteriors enchanted and opened it's doors on December 5, 1901.
The first four professors they hired were also allowed to name their own houses. Students would be sorted into their houses by the a Sorcerer's Hat.
Adam Oehlenschläger, professor of charms, named his house Agrabah. Members of his house would have traits he consistently demonstrated: Dependability. Persistence. Fierce Loyalty. Patience. Generosity. Stubbornness. Possessiveness. Independence. Perseverance. Sensitivity. Secretive. Opinionated. Self-indulgent. Persistent.
Hans Christian Andersen, care of magical creatures professor, named his house Atlantica. Members of his house would have his characteristics: Loyalty. Dependability. Caring Nature. Adaptablity. Responsive. Perseverance. Self-Sufficiency. Crave Success. Guarded. Intelligence. Strong Intuition. Psychic Abilities. Contradictory. Unpredictablity.
Rita Hsiao, divination professor, named her house Shanghai. Members in her house would display: Honor. Respect. Intense Power. Innovation. Enterprising Spirit. Flexibility. Self-assurance. Bravery. Passion. Conceit. Tactless. Scrutinizing. Unanticipated. Quick-temper.
Lewis Carroll, professor of herbology, named his house Wonderland. Members sorted into his house would display the following: Friendly. Unconfrontational. Intelligence. Artistic. Keen. Wise. Fragility. Tranquility. Serenity. Considerate. Fashionable. Sneaky. Obsessive. Reserved.
