Then I saw her face. Now I'm a believer. Not a trace of doubt in my mind. Now I'm a believer.
I'm in love. I'm a believer. I couldn't leave her if I tried.
Hank is a bit of a ditz. He's a bit clueless when it comes to plain as day things. What he's most focused on in his life is pleasing his father. He doesn't want to let him down no matter what he does. Because of this, he is one-track minded and he doesn't see things that can be staring him dead in the face. He can tend to stare danger in the face and it not even affect him.
In fact, nothing really scares him. He will run head first into a flaming inferno, wandless, and not even think that the flames can sear him and actually kill him if he doesn't come out. But that's not something Hank is particularly concerned about. He wants to live up to his family name of Titus. He seems to have nothing to ever worry about in his life. Everything has always been handed to him on a silver platter, but there is one thing that bothers Hank the most. He is extremely jealous of his older brother and sister.
Arastus is being groomed to take over the family businees and his sister Aurelia is learning to follow in her mother's footsteps by keeping record of their family history. With them both following in their parents' paths, what is there for Hank to do? No one really knows that this is a concern of Hank's. Everyone just assumes he had his life mapped out for him, when in reality, nothing really is and he has no idea what he will be doing after commencement from the academy.
He tends to get tongue tied around pretty girls. He does his best to impress them, but... he always ends up making a fool of himself, and sometimes risks hurting himself and everyone around him in the process. Even though everyone admires him, secretly they laugh at his clumsy nature. He doesn't let people know how it affects him, no matter what he does. Just like how he keeps his jealousy of his older siblings at bay, he hides that as well. And believe it or not, it takes a great deal of courage for him to walk up to a girl and flirt with them.
Working out.
Flirting with girls.
Quidditch.
Flying.
Meditation. (Thanks, Phil)
If anyone is a purebred wizard, it's Hank. He can trace his line back clear to Merlin. He's sure few people can say that, but he can. His mother is one of the foremost authorities on tracing magical lineage. Of course there were the few oddballs in his family line that had married muggles, but they weren't talked much about in his family. Yeah, he loved the fact that he came from an almost blemish-free line of magic-users, and all he wanted to do was continue on that line and make his father proud.
When Hank was a baby, his uncle Hadeon tried to kill him. Hank never knew why, but it was rumored that Hadeon was afraid of Hank for some reason. Growing up, Hank never understood that. He was just a kid. Why would his uncle be afraid of him for any reason? Now that he's gotten over, he's still never met his uncle. He has been told about how Hadeon had killed his grandparents, and wonders if it is for the same reason? But why would he want to kill Hank and not Hank's older brother and sister. It's something that has never made any sense to Hank, and still does not to this day.
Hank loves attending the Walt Disney Academy. He was placed into the same house the rest of his family was, something his father was proud of. Hank loved being able to hear his father say he was proud of him. Hank always goes out of his way to please his father. He's the captain of his house quidditch team and plays as the team's keeper. He loves playing quidditch and believes everytime he's playing that instead of flying on his Stratus 350, he's riding on the winged-horse Pegasus.
During the summers, Hank spends most of his time with his mentor, his favorite muggle, Phil. Phil knows all about the magic world and everything that comes with it. Zaccheus and Sera thought it would be good for him to get all the education he could, even not during the school year, so they hired Phil to continue his education during the summer. Most often, Hank and Phil spend their time joking and playing around. If Zaccheus knew what his money was going toward, Hank knew he would be disappointed, but it was the only time Hank ever feels like he doesn't have to worry about anything.
Hank soared high above the tree tops of the 100 Acre wood, imagining he was riding on his fantasy... Pegasus. He imagined the majestic horse's wings gliding with them as they soared. And to go higher, they'd flap, giving them that boost up to the sky. His Stratus 350 didn't have that oomph to it. He was sure he could enchant it to do so, but modifications to brooms were strictly prohibited in Quidditch games, and he would never penalize his team like that. He'd be suspended from the team, and being team captain, they wouldn't be able to play for the next few games of the season. That wouldn't be fair to them, and he'd never do that.
Letting the breeze hit his face, he closed his eyes and soared high and higher. He loved the feeling of the wind in his face, ripping through his hair, threatening to push him from his mount, but he had faith in his Stratus and his Stratus trusted him. There had to be that trust there between master and broom, otherwise you couldn't truly ride a broom properly. Otherwise, everyone would be falling off from the great heights they took their brooms to. Hank knew that his broom would never let him down, and he wouldn't ever let him down. Secretly, he called his broom Pegasus. No one would ever know about that, of course. He didn't need more things for people tease him about. Not that they'd ever do it to his face, but why add to it?
He looked down, seeing that he was coming up to Sherwood and angled the broom down toward the tiny village. He touched down just on the outside of it and headed in. He wasn't meeting anyone here, and no one even knew he had left the castle grounds, but it was nice just to get away. He walked into the village and decided to head toward the Quidditch shop. Not that he needed anything, but it was the best shop in the whole village. He always liked to stay caught up on the newest and best in the game, and even though he wasn't buyin, he'd like to stop in and say hello to the shopkeeper.
