It was class time and she was teaching the class about hippogriff. It was past when she had to talk though and she was now mostly watching them as they dealt with their individual creatures. So she was simply off to the side watching with her arms crossed in a way that kept her clawed focusing gloves from tearing her clothing. She was wearing a full body suit in case she had to interfere. In fact, it was the full body suit that she normally used for super villainess roles but had given a legitimate use through the class. Since it had armor and magic, it was great for defending from all but the most highly magical creatures in existence.
The green and black suit did make her look like a minion but she didn't mind that since that was what she was when she wasn't using it for this purpose. Plus, it was a suit she could easily repair compared to the rest of her clothing. She watched the last person finish with bowing to the hippogriff and getting accepted before looking at her watch. Seeing it was about five minutes til class ended and she needed to put the hippogriff away due to it being the last class of the day... She decided she would let them off early as a treat.
"Class is over... Go do what you will." She told them. "I need to deal with the lovely creatures." She was even being genuinely sincere about the hippogriff... She once got clawed for her sarcasm in dealing with hippogriff so she had to check her sarcasm for just this class. It had been quite hard but she had managed. She bowed to the first hippogriff and took the line to lead it to the area she had for it. The black and brown hippogriff followed obediantly and once she put him away, she came back to get the others.

Today’s Care of Magical Creatures lesson was rather well uh . . . . what’s the word . . . strange? No. different? Close enough. Shego hadn’t even been sarcastic. He figured it had something to do with the fact that it would displease the Hippogriffs. Kovu figured she didn’t exactly want to get kicked in the face or bitch slapped with a hippogriff wing or perhaps clawed. He tried to imagine Shego with a scar identical to that of Scar’s. A rather freakish image and thought. Needless to say he in no way wanted that image in his mind. Besides Shego was his friend in his mind and he wouldn’t want such a thing to befall her. Shego had let the class go early though he figured it was more or less to give herself more time to get the Hippogriffs back where they belong.
He and Shego had never really talked since he really began turning good. Of course Shego wasn’t exactly an opened up, talkative person. Earlier on in his time at the Academy, Shego had been somewhat of a mentor. But time can change people. Kovu wasn’t a bad guy anymore. He didn’t want to overthrow Simba. He didn’t want to be Scar’s heir and he most certainly didn’t want to hurt Kiara. There were many things he wanted to do to Kiara and hurting her wasn’t on the list. He had became his own person and was still shaping himself. But regardless Shego had been his friend and mentor. He wasn’t going to throw away all of it. He just wished there was an easy way to explain everything but the truth was he didn’t understand everything. Between how he knows his family and their wrong doings and who they really are but yet a part of him will always unconditionally love them and his feelings towards Kiara a girl he was brought up to hate. To kill if it came to it. Yet despite the way he had treated her in the past was the first to become his friend after he saw the light. He didn’t understand why he wanted her so badly. All he knew was that whenever he was around her he got feelings. Butterflies in his stomach, daydreams, the whole nine. And all of it frightened him beyond belief.
He couldn’t explain what he didn’t know very well. But he wanted to explain to Shego that even though he was changing and that he had been changing for a long time that she was still his friend. That he didn’t want to throw it away. He wanted her to understand that just because he wasn’t going to be be a villain didn’t mean they couldn’t still be friends. As Shego brought a black and brown Hippogriff back to it’s place, Kovu began to bring the brown and gray Hippogriff he was assigned to back. After all he had manners and he figured that Shego would allow him to stay and talk if he was at least helping. He didn’t know how much she’d listen to him, but he knew she wouldn’t say no to the help.

Of course Kovu came to help with putting away the hippogriffs, she expected no less, she had been his mentor and he had always been a bit of a kind person even if he was rude when he was younger. She hadn't exactly been planning for this but it was good he had come to talk after this particular class. She had the time to think since she had to give meaningless polite talk to hippogriff. So she could decide whether she would rudely put him down, treat him politely or honestly tell him why she had ended up distancing herself from him. After all... She was a smart supervillainess even if she preferred being a minion to trying to take over the world.
Truthfully... She didn't have any problem with Kovu. It wasn't exactly like it was hard to tell the signs when someone was going to decide that they didn't want to be a villain. Kovu was always a little too soft for the villain role. Still... She had expected him to renounce it a lot later than he had. So when he ended up starting to become all goody goody... She needed to distance herself from him. It was a big problem if a hero turned villain hung out with a villain turned hero. But the thing was... She didn't voice that quite yet... She wasn't really about mushy stuff and she was busy getting the other hippogriff. She was, however, the honest type.
So once they were on the last two hippogriff, she decided to speak a little since they both seemed to be stalling. "Are you going to talk already or not?" Shego commented a little impatiently before sighing, figuring she needed to keep calm and not scare the bird-horses with her fire power. "If not then I guess I could find out something to say to start off to get this particular conversation over with before hell freezes over... She had a pretty good idea how to start but she wasn't sure how to get it so Kovu can talk nor in how to get things to a more understanding level. This was a lot harder than it would seem to be because there wasn't much room for compromise in the hero and villain realms her brothers had liked.
"Have you ever wondered where my nickname of Shego came from?" She commented as she started brushing the fur of the hippogriff she was working with after getting it back in its place. "It was such an utterly stupid thing... I'm going to say first off that I don't actually dislike you... you do know that right? You are much less of a jackass compared to my brothers... It's more because of them that I've been quiet. " She never really went into her history with other villains because they either knew of her origins and didn't care or they didn't but she wasn't going to tell them. So Kovu was really one of the rare people who would get to know her wonderful history other than what he could put together from the Wego twins. She was willing to talk about it this while to explain why though since she had admitted she had nothing against him.
